The Quality Assurance (QA) Staff is responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet the company's quality and food safety standards. The role supports compliance with GMP, HACCP, HALAL, FDA, and other applicable regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate quality records and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct incoming inspection of raw and packaging materials.
Perform in-process quality inspections during production.
Inspect finished products prior to release for distribution.
Monitor compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and company quality standards.
Conduct routine line inspections and verify critical control points (CCPs) based on the HACCP plan.
Record inspection results accurately and prepare daily quality reports.
Identify and report product defects, quality issues, and non-conformities.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Maintenance regarding quality-related concerns.
Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for identified quality issues.
Assist during internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
Ensure laboratory equipment and measuring instruments are properly calibrated and maintained.
Monitor product shelf life, labeling, coding, and packaging compliance.
Maintain proper documentation in accordance with ISO, HACCP, HALAL, FDA, and company standards.
Participate in product investigations, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
Perform other quality assurance tasks assigned by the QA Supervisor or QA Manager.
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or a related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; experience in food manufacturing is an advantage.
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SSOP, Food Safety, and Quality Management Systems.
Familiarity with FDA regulations and HALAL standards is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Willing to work on shifting schedules and overtime when required.
