Job summary

• Conduct ingredient evaluations for quality and cost-effectiveness (substitutes/equivalents).
• Ensure process control testing is conducted per approved procedures and non-conforming products are put on-hold and documented.
• Ensure samples are received, tested, and stored per procedures, including microbiological testing samples.
• Input QA results for finished products into the computer and file finished product specifications.

Job Description

• Ensure that all raw materials and premixes have their Material Quality Status identified
• Conduct ingredient evaluations for quality and cost-effectiveness (particularly potential substitute/equivalent ingredients)
• Ensure that all process control testing in the factory is carried out in accordance with approved procedures and that non-conforming products are put “on-hold”, properly reported and documented immediately
• Ensure that all required samples are received, tested and stored in accordance with the procedures, including samples for microbiological testing
• Input QA results for finished products into the computer and file finished product specifications accordingly
