Job summary

Sateco Philippines Inc is seeking a QA/QC Supervisor to oversee all QA/QC activities, lead the team, coordinate inspections and audits, and drive continuous improvement in operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in QA/QC (supervisory preferred), with automotive industry exposure and IATF 16949 knowledge. Strong analytical and cross-departmental communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering or Engineering Course.
• At least 5 years of experience in QA/QC; supervisory role preferred.
• Experience in automotive industry preferred.
• Background on IATF 16949.
• Analytical skills.
• Good communication across all departments and higher management.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC team, coordinate inspections and audits, drive continuous improvement across operations.
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities to meet standards and customer specs.
• Review and approve evaluation and test reports, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing equipment.
• Review inspection and test reports and ensure documentation release quality.
• Oversee material and product inspections, traceability and document accuracy.
• Mentor inspectors, engineers and analysts; schedule and assign team tasks.
• Conduct competency assessments and identify training needs.
• Promote a culture of quality, discipline and continuous improvement across departments.
• Interact with customers and suppliers, manage complaints and root-cause analysis.
• Manage product quality and QA/QC documentation.

Job description

The QA/QC Supervisor oversees all quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure that products, processes, and documentation meet company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Leads the QA/QC team, coordinates inspections and audits, and drives continuous improvement across operations.

Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance: Review and approve evaluation, reports documents, lead investigation, documentation, standardization and improves the quality (NCR), deviations and provide corrective and preventive actions.

2. Quality Control of inspection, testing, and sampling result.

3. Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of measuring & testing equipment.

4. Review of inspection reports, test reports and documentation prior to release.

5. Oversee material inspection and product inspection.

6. Ensure traceability and documentation accuracy for raw materials, in-process checks and finished goods.

7. Leadership & Team Management that leads, trains, and mentor of QA/QC inspectors, engineers and analyst. Scheduling, and assigning team responsibilities based on priorities.

8. Conduct competency assessments and identify the training needs.

9. Promote a culture of quality, discipline, harmonious relationship, good environment and contionuous improvement within the department and or to other department.

10. Customer and Supplier Interaction , communicates, coordinate and manage complaints perform toot cause analysis and ensure timely closure

11. Can judge and goal-oriented, can manage the quality of the product and can manage the documents of QA/QC.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in QA/QC; with supervisory role is preferred
• With relevant experience in automotive industry is preferred
• Relevant Background on International Automotive Task Force (IATF) 16949
• With analytical skills
