Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to design quality standards, inspect materials, equipment, and processes, and implement quality control systems across construction projects. The role requires willingness to relocate to project sites and oversees testing, inspections, and corrective actions.

Candidates should have a licensed engineering credential with at least 5 years in large infra projects, preferably with CQM certification, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in large infrastructure projects.
• Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of onsite construction QA/QC and safety surveillance experience on commercial or military infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare QA/QC plans for new construction and refurbishment work.
• Establish QA procedures including inspection time limits, sampling and testing requirements.
• Oversee quality assessment of materials through laboratory tests.
• Review technical specs and recommend standard construction specifications for works.
• Review test forms and evaluation of laboratory results.
• Review contractor practices and methodologies and advise remedial actions.
• Coordinate with project engineers/design consultants on inspection/testing procedures.
• Conduct initial supplier/ material source surveys to ensure quality and value.
• Perform other related responsibilities as required.
