Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to design and implement quality standards across construction projects. The role involves inspecting materials, reviewing specifications, and determining corrective actions to ensure quality at all levels.

You must be willing to relocate to any project site, with responsibilities spanning planning, testing, and coordination with engineers and consultants to uphold strict quality controls.

Qualifications

• Licensed engineer with 5+ years in large infrastructure projects.
• Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of onsite construction QA and safety surveillance experience on commercial/military projects.
• Experience in pre-stressing works and concrete mix-design under varying conditions.
• Excellent English communication skills and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare QA/QC plans for new construction and refurbishment work.
• Establish QA procedures including inspection timelines, sampling and testing.
• Oversee quality assessment of materials through lab tests.
• Review specs and recommend standard construction practices.
• Evaluate test forms and QA/testing procedures; assess results.
• Recommend remedial actions for contractor practices as needed.
• Collaborate with project engineers and designers to set inspection/testing procedures.
• Conduct initial supplier/source QA queries to ensure value.
