Job summary

Ecological Energy Technologies Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Civil Engineer to join our quality assurance team in Tuy, Batangas.

You will oversee construction activities, conduct inspections of materials and workmanship, and implement quality control measures to ensure projects meet design specs and safety standards. Responsibilities include preparing inspection and non-conformance reports, coordinating with managers and contractors, and maintaining thorough quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and building codes.
• Proficiency in using quality control testing equipment and software.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformances.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to prepare clear and comprehensive technical reports and documentation.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to workplace safety.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to make sound judgements in the field.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications and software programs.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or QA/QC certification is advantageous.
• Experience with renewable energy or sustainable construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control tests on construction materials, including concrete, soil, steel, and other components, and document results.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to address quality issues and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and quality documentation.
• Conduct meetings with project teams to discuss quality standards and address concerns.
• Recommend improvements to construction processes and quality procedures.
• Assist in training construction personnel on quality standards and best practices.
