Job summary

White Cloak Technologies, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Software Engineer to ensure high-quality software across web and mobile platforms.

You will design test plans, execute extensive manual and automated testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria. The role requires 4+ years in QA, strong testing across SDLC, and hands-on experience with Postman and SQL validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 4+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
• Experience in both manual and automation testing of web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, exploratory, API, database, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Create and maintain QA documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate backend data through SQL queries.
• Support test automation initiatives and continuously improve testing processes.
• Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
