Job summary

HRTX in Makati is seeking a Software QA Analyst to design and execute comprehensive test plans for system enhancements and new applications. You will run functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing, identifying defects and coordinating with developers to ensure timely resolutions.

The role requires collaboration with IT and business users to define requirements, maintain test coverage, and produce quality metrics. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/IS or related field.
• 1+ year of QA/testing experience; senior level possible for strong candidates.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and test documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for system enhancements, new applications, and process improvements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure applications meet business and operational requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and validate software defects, coordinating with developers, vendors, and stakeholders until resolution.
• Collaborate with IT and business users to understand system requirements, recommend quality improvements, and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Prepare testing documentation, test reports, and quality metrics while supporting continuous improvement of QA processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or IT application support. Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for Senior Associate or Executive levels.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect tracking, and test documentation. Experience with test automation tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications, databases, or business systems; experience supporting accounting or audit-related applications is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
