Job summary

HRTX in Makati is seeking a Software Testing professional to design, execute, and manage test plans for system implementations, enhancements, integrations, and updates.

You will perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing, document defects, and collaborate with developers and business teams to ensure quality and adequate test coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/IS or related field.
• At least 1 year of software testing or QA experience.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, defect management; automation experience a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for system implementations, enhancements, integrations, and application updates.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Identify, document, track, and validate software defects while coordinating with developers, vendors, and stakeholders for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand requirements, assess testing needs, and ensure adequate test coverage for system changes.
• Maintain testing documentation, prepare test reports, monitor quality metrics, and recommend improvements to testing processes and practices.

Qualifications

• achelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in software testing, quality assurance, application support, or a related IT role. Candidates with more experience may be considered for higher levels.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, test documentation, defect management, and testing tools; experience with test automation is an advantage.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications, databases, and business systems; experience supporting accounting, audit, or professional services applications is preferred.
