Job summary

Coherent Philippines Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to establish and improve QA protocols for raw materials and finished products in a 100% onsite environment. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with SPC and quality standards in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing.

The role requires a bachelor’s in electronic engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in JMP and Power BI, and familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/45001.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or equivalent; 5+ years in semiconductor/electronics
• Strong leadership and cross-functional teamwork
• Proficient in SPC, FMEA, 8D, CAPA, RCA and statistics
• Familiar with ISO 9001/14001/45001; JMP experience
• Power BI dashboard development is a strong plus; Internal Auditor certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Establish and apply QA protocols to inspect raw materials and finished products
• Follow sampling, inspection and SPC procedures in manufacturing
• Analyze data, identify trends and recommend corrective actions
• Conduct DoE, Gage R&R and process capability studies
• Investigate failures and drive corrective actions for MRB items

Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for establishing , evaluating, revising, and applying technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test raw materials and finished products.

Ensuring that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. Performing analysis and identifying trends in the inspection of finished products, raw materials and recommends corrective actions whenever necessary. Qualify and optimize processes through Gage R&R Studies, Process Capability Studies and Designs of Experiments.

Participate in the investigation of failures and formulation and implementation of action plans for all internal and external corrective actions, audit findings and address MRB items in a timely manner. Education & Experience A bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or its equivalents with at least 5 years of relevant work experience semiconductor or electronics / optoelectronics industry.

Skills Demonstrated leadership capability to manage cross-functional teams. Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving

Knowledgeable in SPC, FMEA, 8D, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, and statistical analysis. Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and 45001 management system. Proficient in using statistical software such as JMP.

Proficiency in developing Quality Dashboards using Microsoft Power BI is a strong advantage. Certified Internal Auditor is preferred Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
