Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Cebu City is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure compliance with quality standards and legislative requirements. Responsibilities include preparing sampling slips, verifying shipments, and documenting incidents. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology and has at least 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance. This position is based in Liloan, Cebu.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare sampling slips for scheduled shipments.
• Notify EIRAD for bulk damages and request surveyor as needed.
• Capture and verify identified container damage.
• Counter check filled documents from Logistics checkers.
• Generate incident reports for container damages and final rejects from DSFC.
• Orient Logistics Checkers and Stevedores on Receiving and QA Operations.
• Oversee the activities of the Laboratory Aide and ensure thorough documentation.

Job description

Ensuring effective implementation of company’s established quality standards in response to consumer specifications and in compliance to legislative standards.

The position calls for providing active leadership involvement in ensuring that product quality is maintained thereby protecting the image of the brand and the company, as reflected in the VMOS.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sampling slips for the scheduled shipments.
• Ensure to notify EIRAD for encountered bulk damages, request surveyor as needed.
• Capture photos on the identified punctured, holes, rust and any related damage of the container.
• Capture photos of the container upon opening, middle and near to finish unloading to verify the stacking configuration of goods inside the container.
• Oversee the collection of samples in accordance with the sampling pattern provided.
• Capture photos and verifies identified container damage inside the container.
• Ensures that only verified container damages shall be forwarded to QA Area.
• Ensures that collected samples and DSFC with the correct quantity were delivered to the QA area.
• Counter checks the filled up documents such as Sampling slips, DSFC handed by the Logistics checkers.
• Daily reports all received shipments in FAC Warehouse to concerned personnel.
• Reports all incoming packaging labels and cartons within the day.
• Reports receive samples and marketing materials from suppliers. Ensure that samples shall be forwarded to the concerned Import Officer/Logistics personnel.
• Reports lacking quantity with 1 case and above based on Packing List.
• Generate initial incident report for 10 cases and above received container damages.
• Generate final incident report for 1 case and above final rejects from DSFC.
• Final verification of damaged stocks from the container and releases goods and verified damaged stocks.
• Other tasks assigned by immediate superior.
• Oversee the activities of the Laboratory Aide.
• Orients Logistics Checkers and Stevedores on standard operating procedures (Receiving and QA Operations)
