Job summary

Fly Ace Corporation seeks a QA Analyst for Coldchain Operations to ensure quality standards and compliance from receiving to shipment. You will lead QA efforts, coordinate with Logistics, and document incidents and damages to protect brand integrity.

Responsibilities include sampling, container inspection, photos, DSFC handling, and daily reporting. Novaliches, Quezon City based position with growth opportunities in quality assurance.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years work experience in Quality Assurance and Receiving.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology required.
• Willing to work in Novaliches, Quezon City.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sampling slips for the scheduled shipments.
• Notify EIRAD for encountered bulk damages and request a surveyor as needed.
• Capture photos of punctures, holes, rust and container damage.
• Capture container photos during unloading to verify stacking.
• Oversee collection of samples per the provided sampling pattern.
• Capture photos and verify container damages inside the container.
• Forward only verified damages to QA Area.
• Ensure collected samples and DSFC with correct quantity are delivered to QA.
• Counter check documents such as Sampling slips and DSFC handed by logistics.
• Daily reporting of all received shipments in FAC Warehouse.
• Report incoming packaging labels and cartons within the day.
• Report samples and marketing materials from suppliers and route to Import Officer/Logistics.
• Report any quantity shortfalls based on Packing List.
• Generate initial incident reports for container damages ≥10 cases.
• Generate final incident reports for DSFC rejects ≥1 case.
• Verify damaged stocks and release goods accordingly.
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Oversee Laboratory Aide activities and orient staff on Receiving QA SOPs.

Ensuring effective implementation of company’s established quality standards in response to consumer specifications and in compliance to legislative standards.

The position calls for providing active leadership involvement in ensuring that product quality is maintained thereby protecting the image of the brand and the company, as reflected in the VMOS.

1. Prepares sampling slips for the scheduled shipments
2. Ensure to notify EIRAD for encountered bulk damages, request surveyor as needed.
3. Capture photos on the identified punctured, holes, rust and any related damage of the container.
4. Capture photos of the container upon opening, middle and near to finish unloading to verify the stacking configuration of goods inside the container.
5. Oversee the collection of samples in accordance with the sampling pattern provided.
6. Capture photos and verifies identified container damage inside the container.
7. Ensures that only verified container damages shall be forwarded to QA Area.
8. Ensures that collected samples and DSFC with the correct quantity were delivered to the QA area.
9. Counter checks the filled up documents such as Sampling slips, DSFC handed by the Logistics checkers.
10. Daily reports all received shipments in FAC Warehouse to concerned personnel.
11. Reports all incoming packaging labels and cartons within the day.
12. Reports receive samples and marketing materials from suppliers. Ensure that samples shall be forwarded to the concerned Import Officer/Logistics personnel.
13. Reports lacking quantity with 1 case and above based on Packing List.
14. Generate initial incident report for 10 cases and above received container damages.
15. Generate final incident report for 1 case and above final rejects from DSFC.
16. Final verification of damaged stocks from the container and releases goods and verified damaged stocks.
17. Other tasks assigned by immediate superior.
18. Oversee the activities of the Laboratory Aide.
19. Orients Logistics Checkers and Stevedores on standard operating procedures (Receiving and QA Operations)

Qualifications

• Atleast 1-2 years work experience in Quality Assurance and Receiving
• Bachelors degree in Food Technology
• Willing to work in Novaliches, Quezon City
