Job summary

Genpact is hiring a Senior Python Developer in the Philippines to build and scale AI-driven software solutions. You will drive technical deliverables, develop code, and collaborate with a global team to implement business-driven requests and upgrades.

You will engage in QA, documentation, and acceptance criteria creation, while leveraging AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity, code quality, and automation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Python 3.12 and SQL development.
• Frontend development using React (or Angular).

Responsibilities

• You will help comprehend technical and functional requirements, develop, QA, and implement business-driven requests and enhancements and software upgrades.
• You will provide support and maintenance of platforms owned by the team and prepare documentation of solutions.
• You will help the team create and maintain acceptance criteria for user stories, help Business Analyst by giving suggestions from a quality assurance perspective regarding user experience, possible performance issues, and future bugs.
• You will work with a cross-functional team to identify risks, mitigating them where possible.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in Python 3.12 and SQL development (Batch jobs and analysis of data, Data Transformation, Reporting)
• Experience in front end development using React (or Angular) would be regarded.
• Demonstrable ability in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Docker / Linux experience
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools and coding agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT or similar) to enhance productivity, code quality, and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with leveraging AI for code generation, debugging, documentation, and test automation is highly regarded.
• Motivated to gain experience across a variety of technologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural and global team
• Creative thinker and passion for innovation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• AWS experience and/or certification will be regarded – any cloud would be acceptable
• Experience in Test Driven Development, Unit Testing and Test Automation would be highly regarded.
• Brings high regard on Quality Assurance - experience in automating tests on UI and/or database and/or desktop domain applications desirable
