Job summary

Hummingcomm Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a Photovoltaic Power Plant Maintenance & Repair Technician to oversee daily inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of PV plant equipment at our Olongapo site. You will ensure safe operation and reliable power generation through hands-on maintenance and documentation.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree or higher in electrical engineering or related fields, with 2+ years of experience in electrical equipment inspection

Qualifications

Associate degree or above in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or related fields.
At least 2 years of experience in electrical equipment inspection or maintenance, PV power stations, wind farms, or substations considered.
Strong hands-on skills and fault analysis and handling abilities, familiar with primary/secondary electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot photovoltaic power plant equipment to ensure safe and stable operation.
Perform preventative, scheduled, and ad-hoc maintenance per plan.
Inspect and maintain equipment in the PV area including inverters, combiner boxes, transformers, and switchgear.
Clean solar panels and monitor power generation efficiency.
Identify and eliminate equipment defects and safety hazards.
