Job summary

At AboitizPower, the PV Maintenance Engineer will oversee maintenance services, execution, inspection, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of PV plant work, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget alignment. You will partner with the team to deliver results and drive community impact in renewable energy projects.

You will support plant operations, maintenance planning, and reporting, leveraging SCADA systems and diagnostic tools to optimize performance and reliability

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 1 year of related experience in maintaining a power plant facility
• Proven experience in a Photovoltaic-Solar Farm is considered a plus
• Proven experience in Power Plant operation and maintenance, and Construction or PMC is considered a plus
• Familiar with EPC contract and construction management of large infrastructure or power plant is considered a plus
• Preferably a Licensed Engineer (Electrical/ ECE)
• Preferably a Registered Master Electrician

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operation or task management functions as delegated by the Plant Engineer, including customer liaison, coordination of technicals, assisting the Plant Engineer in PV plant initiation activities, and in preparation of the operation and maintenance planning.
• Meetings, general PV plant operation, maintenance, inspection, supervision, and coordination.
• Monitor and report PV plant operations, and preventive, and corrective maintenance activities against schedule and plan.
• Executing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with the Scope of Work and quality objectives of the PV plant.
• Effective communication with the operations team, vendor, and third parties.
• Accurate, timely, and effective reporting to the Plant Engineer.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Electrical Engineering

1 year of related experience in maintaining a power plant facility

Proven experience in a Photovoltaic-Solar Farm is considered a plus
