Job summary

JT International S.A. in Taguig, Philippines, is seeking a Purchasing Operations Specialist to manage end-to-end purchasing within the Purchase-to-Pay process.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions to ensure timely PO creation, validation, and compliant procedures, while supporting vendor activities and invoice processing. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/Procurement, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Procurement, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement operations, finance, shared services, or a similar role.
• Understanding of Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good English communication and collaboration across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end purchasing activities including PO creation and validation.
• Assist stakeholders with procurement requests and guidance on processes and policies.
• Monitor purchasing transactions and resolve issues efficiently and accurately.
• Support invoice and goods receipt processes and vendor activities within P2P.
• Help ensure compliance with policies and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Purchasing Operations Specialist

The Purchasing Operations Specialist plays an important role in ensuring the smooth delivery of purchasing and procurement services for JTI markets and factories. Working closely with internal stakeholders across the business, the role supports end-to-end purchasing activities, helps maintain efficient operations, and ensures compliance with company policies and processes. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, and collaborating with teams across different functions and geographies.

As a Purchasing Operations Specialist in the area of Purchase to Pay , you will:

• - Support end-to-end purchasing activities, including purchase order creation, maintenance, and validation, while ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• - Assist stakeholders with procurement‑related requests and inquiries, providing guidance on purchasing processes, systems, and policies.
• - Monitor purchasing transactions, identify issues, and work with relevant teams to resolve them efficiently and accurately.
• - Support invoice and goods receipt processes, vendor‑related activities, and other operational tasks within the Purchase‑to‑Pay cycle.
• - Help ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and operational standards while maintaining accurate documentation and records.
• - Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and projects aimed at enhancing service quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• - At least 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement operations, finance, shared services, or a similar role.
• - Understanding of Purchase‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes and procurement operations.
• - Experience using SAP or other ERP systems, along with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
• - Good English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders in a diverse, international environment.
