Leslie Farms, Inc. is expanding its Agribusiness Division and seeks a Purchasing Manager or Assistant Purchasing Manager to drive strategic sourcing for CAPEX, the feedmill, and upcoming poultry and swine projects.

You will bridge engineering, animal nutrition, and supply chain needs, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. You will procure farm inputs, manage international imports, and coordinate with engineering and project teams to align delivery with complex construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3 to 7+ years of procurement experience in agribusiness, feed manufacturing, or industrial construction.
• Exceptional project management capabilities and ability to track complex delivery schedules and flag potential delays early.
• Hands-on experience executing international importations cost-effectively and in a timely manner.
• Familiarity with customs clearance, freight forwarding, and tracking direct imports.
• Ability to read technical/engineering specifications and understand basic agricultural commodity markets or industrial farming infrastructure.
• Willingness to travel routinely between the corporate office and Batangas farm facilities to ensure on-site alignment.

About the role

Leslie Farms, Inc. is rapidly expanding and modernizing our Agribusiness Division. We are looking for a dynamic Purchasing Manager or Assistant Purchasing Manager (level will be commensurate with experience) to drive and execute strategic sourcing for our capital equipment (CAPEX), commercial feedmill, and upcoming large-scale poultry and swine projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between engineering requirements, animal nutrition, and supply chain execution, ensuring that our division's expansion stays on schedule and under budget.

1. Agribusiness Operations & Farm Inputs

• Procure essential farm inputs, biosecurity materials, and daily operational requirements to ensure the uninterrupted efficiency of general swine breeding facilities and commercial poultry layer operations.

2. Agri-Commodities, Feedmill Upcycling & Raw Material Importation

• Identify and secure reliable sources for alternative feed ingredients, agricultural by-products, and upcycled materials for our feedmill.

• Monitor local and global agricultural commodity markets and pricing trends to optimize feed costs.

• Coordinate the international logistics and importation of agricultural raw materials, ensuring continuous and cost-effective supply for feed manufacturing.

3. CAPEX, Farm Automation & Import Logistics

• Manage and coordinate end-to-end international logistics, ensuring that imported capital goods and materials arrive on schedule.

• Execute international importations at the lowest possible freight and customs clearance costs without sacrificing project timelines.

• Vet, evaluate, and manage international suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to negotiate favorable pricing, commercial payment terms, and shipping arrangements.

• Work closely with engineering and project management teams to align procurement delivery schedules with complex construction timelines.

• Procure materials for major engineering projects, including pre-engineered buildings (PEBs), structural steel, and heavy equipment.

• Anticipate and source automated housing designs, climate control systems, and specialized equipment for commercial poultry layer operations and general swine breeding facilities.

• Source industrial power equipment to support division-wide automation and procure components for sustainable energy initiatives.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field
