About the Role

A Procurement Associate provides administrative support for the Procurement Department of J&T Express. As a Procurement Associate, his/her job duties include canvassing, processing purchase requests, ordering supplies, and scheduling deliveries to ensure that J&T Express has sufficient number of necessary materials or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requests based on current inventory and allocation of supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
• Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
• Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
• Perform buying duties when necessary.
• Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, warranty servicing, and other problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any program, preferably Logistics, Supply Chain, Import/Export Operations, or related field.
• At least 1-year relevant work experience in Procurement or similar field preferred.
• Experience in E-Commerce or Logistics is a plus.
