Job summary

J&T Express Philippines is seeking a Procurement Associate to provide administrative support to the Procurement Department. The role covers canvassing, processing purchase requests, ordering supplies, and scheduling deliveries to ensure materials and equipment are available for operations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 1 year of procurement or logistics experience, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, import/export operations, or related field.
• At least 1 year of procurement or related experience preferred.
• Experience in e-commerce or logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requests based on inventory levels and needs.
• Prepare purchase orders and circulate to suppliers and internal departments.
• Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient and order replenishments as needed.
• Respond to inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
• Perform buying duties when necessary.
• Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve shortages.
