About the role

Under the HRAD Head, to perform the canvassing and bidding of materials, negotiations to get the best deal, coordinate with client and suppliers for timely delivery of quality products at the right cost, and to help other department personnel determine the most suitable product to meet their needs considering the objectives of the entire organization.

Key responsibilities

• Process 100% of purchase orders with appropriate canvassing and clear supporting documents
• Award purchase orders based on the lowest abiding bidders, with proper justification and approval when exceptions occur
• Ensure zero cases of defective delivery or under-specification materials; consult with customers beforehand on any under-spec materials
• Select procured products or services with the most favorable terms and conditions
• Process purchase requisitions to purchase order within 3 weeks or less from the date of requisition
• Maintain zero pending deliveries of purchase orders with exceeding 3 months
• Maintain zero written issues or negative feedback from customers
• Treat suppliers equally and fairly with zero bidding or canvassing leakage issues
• Document 100% of canvassing, bidding and negotiations
• Conduct quarterly checking, validating and closing of un-served purchase orders with customers and suppliers

About you

• College level or degree in BS Commerce, Information Technology or any business related courses
• At least 1-2 years relevant experience in purchasing job
• Trustworthy and with high sense of accountability
• Good foundation in purchasing functions and documentation
• Proficient in Computer Applications (MS Office)
• Effective Oral and Written Communications Skills
• Good Analytical, Decision-Making and Problem-Solving Skills
• Able to manage diversity and change management
