Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology; master's preferred.
• Teaching experience at tertiary level with psychology exposure.
• Strong knowledge in developmental, social, cognitive, abnormal psychology.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain complex concepts.

• Proficiency with educational technology and LMS.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and updating course materials, lesson plans, and educational resources that align with current psychological research and best practices

• Assessing student learning through examinations, assignments, projects, and continuous evaluation methods

• Providing constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and professional development

• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure curriculum coherence and integration across psychology programmes

• Mentoring and supporting students' academic and career aspirations within psychology and related fields

• Maintaining detailed records of student attendance, progress, and performance

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field; a Master's degree or higher qualification in Psychology is highly preferred

• Relevant teaching experience at tertiary or higher education level, ideally with exposure to various psychology specialisations

• Strong subject matter expertise in core psychology areas such as developmental psychology, social psychology, cognitive psychology, abnormal psychology, or research methods

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex psychological concepts clearly to diverse student audiences

• Demonstrated commitment to student-centred learning and educational excellence

• Proficiency in utilising educational technology and learning management systems to enhance teaching effectiveness

• A genuine passion for psychology and for inspiring students to develop a deep understanding of human behaviour and mental processes

• Experience in developing inclusive and supportive learning environments that cater to students with varied learning needs
