Job summary

King Properties is seeking a Property Manager to oversee maintenance, repairs, and staff for residential and commercial properties. You will manage turnover workflows from inspection to handover, coordinate with construction and sales teams, and ensure compliance of water distribution systems.

The role requires 3–5 years in property management with leadership experience, and a strong understanding of facilities management and local regulations. Residential property exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in property management with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with residential properties is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of property operations and facilities management.
• Familiarity with water distribution systems and local regulations.

Job description

1. Property Management

• Oversee property maintenance and repair projects to ensure timely completion within approved budgets.
• Lead and manage staff, including maintenance and administrative personnel.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Address maintenance and repair issues promptly and efficiently.

2. Property Turnover

• Oversee the entire turnover process for residential and/or commercial units --- from inspection scheduling to final handover.
• Conduct pre-turnover inspections to ensure units meet quality standards, coordinating with construction and sales teams for rectifications.
• Interact with property owners, contractors and internal customers to ensure smooth operations.

3. Water Distribution Operations

• Oversee operation, maintenance, and compliance of an in-house water distribution system ensuring safe and reliable water delivery.
• Oversee daily operations of water distribution systems, including mains, service lines, valves, hydrants, meters, pump stations, and storage facilities.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of operations, maintenance, and water quality.
• Respond to water service disruptions, emergencies, and after-hours call-outs.

Job Qualifications

• Preferably a graduate of Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering, or any related course;
• At least 3–5 years of experience in property management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role;
• With experience in residential properties is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of property operations and facilities management;
• Familiar with water distribution systems.
• Familiarity with local property laws and regulations.
