Job summary

THUNDERBIRD PILIPINAS HOTELS AND RESORTS INC invites a Corporate Lawyer to join Thunderbird Binangonan. The ideal candidate is a BAR passer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate law and will report to the Legal Head.

Key duties include property regulatory compliance, contract management, legal issue resolution, risk management, and preparation of legal documents. Collaboration with internal teams and external counsel is required to support business operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a BAR passer.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a corporate lawyer.

Responsibilities

• Property Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with local regulations and national laws; provide guidance on regulatory changes; collaborate with stakeholders to implement compliance measures.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate leases, vendor agreements, and service contracts; ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and organizational policies; maintain organized documentation.
• Legal Issue Resolution: Address legal concerns from internal departments; collaborate with cross-functional teams to find practical legal solutions; conduct legal research and analysis.
• Risk Management: Identify legal risks in property operations; develop policies and procedures to minimize exposure; advise management on legal implications of business decisions.
• Legal Documentation: Prepare and review legal documents, correspondence, and reports; ensure accurate documentation of all legal matters.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work with internal departments; coordinate with external counsel when needed; clearly communicate legal advice to stakeholders.
