Job summary

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Property Engineer (Augment) on a contract basis in Pasay City, Metro Manila.

The role oversees and manages property engineering projects, ensuring buildings and systems meet standards and regulatory requirements. The candidate should have a Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering background with 1–2 years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of local building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in property engineering or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance protocols, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings and specs.
• Experience with project management tools, software and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of Philippine building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and compliance issues.
• Oversee and manage engineering projects from inception through completion within schedules and budgets.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, project docs, and technical drawings for property improvements.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and external service providers for quality workmanship and timely delivery.
• Manage building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, and fire safety.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for upgrades and capital projects.
• Monitor budgets and provide cost tracking and variance reports.
• Ensure electrical and building work complies with local codes and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot engineering issues to minimize disruptions.
