Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a skilled Property Engineer to ensure the smooth operation, safety, and efficiency of building facilities in Batangas. The role focuses on maintaining property management standards, supporting sustainability initiatives, and fostering strong relationships with residents and stakeholders.

You will conduct inspections, oversee commissioning, and manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems while coordinating with contractors and residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• 2–3 years of experience in property management, facilities engineering, or building maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with contractors and residents.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, respond to emergencies, and troubleshoot technical issues across building facilities.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and punchlisting of building equipment, systems, and common areas.
• Manage and maintain essential building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
• Review and accept property turnovers from developers, deliveries, and contractor work.
• Evaluate fit-out and renovation plans, monitor construction activities, and ensure compliance with building guidelines.
• Record, monitor, and encode monthly utility readings (water/electric) across properties.
• Track utility consumption and support energy efficiency and sustainability programs.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with unit owners and homeowners.
