Job summary

Legal Management Group (LMG) is seeking an experienced property-damage adjuster to handle and negotiate personal injury property claims. The role requires reviewing estimates, supporting documents, and maintaining precise records.

The ideal candidate has extensive adjusting experience, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and English proficiency, with Spanish preferred. On-site night shifts in BGC are expected, supporting attorneys and clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of property damage/insurance adjusting experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures, and adjusting practices.
• Proven experience evaluating damages and negotiating settlements.
• Strong analytical, investigative, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Professional English proficiency; Spanish-speaking preferred/required.
• Experience managing multiple claims in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in claims-management software and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work 12:00 midnight-9:00 AM, on-site in BGC.

Responsibilities

• Investigate property damage, causation, liability, and financial impact.
• Review repair estimates, photos, inspection reports, policies, and supporting documents.
• Identify undervalued damages, coverage issues, and improper denials.
• Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, carriers, repair shops, contractors, and attorneys.
• Prepare damage evaluations, repair estimates, and claim summaries.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers for fair settlements.
• Track claims from intake through resolution and follow up consistently.
• Support attorneys and case managers with property-damage expertise.
• Maintain accurate documentation in claims/case management systems.
