Job summary

CBRE Philippines is seeking a Billing & Collections Specialist in Quezon City to manage rent and utility billings and collections under limited supervision. The role involves auditing payment requests, maintaining receivables, and collaborating with accounting on discrepancies.

The ideal candidate has a accounting background with 2–3 years’ experience in billing/collections, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and is amenable to working Mondays through Saturdays at Scout Reyes, Quezon

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or any related field.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in billing and collections, or property management accounting, real estate finance, or related industry.
• Strong understanding of property management and real estate development with high attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QNE, QuickBooks, or SAP; knowledge of documentation and financial close out.

Responsibilities

• Review funding and payment requests for accuracy, documentation, and authorization.
• Maintain accounts receivable updates for all transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Prepare Tenant’s Ledger with aging to update rental and utility billings and collections.
• Monitor accounts receivable for timely payment collection from customers.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, and other financial records for accuracy.
• Contact customers by phone, email, or mail to discuss outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with accounting to reconcile payment discrepancies or billing errors.
• Generate and send reports on outstanding invoices, collections, and cash flow status.
• Process delinquent accounts for collection and prepare notices for delivery to customers.
• Respond to management and client requests regarding various billing and reporting issues.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting for property portfolio and client transitions.
• Monitor service scope and provide feedback on changes; coordinate work with team members.
