Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Imus, Cavite, Philippines is seeking an experienced Accountant to apply cash and accrual accounting to prepare financial reports for a portfolio of CBRE clients and properties.

You will handle accounts payable and receivable, manage budgets, and deliver accurate statements. The role requires at least 5 years in property management accounting or real estate finance, with 2+ years in year-end audit and tax compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related courses.
• 5+ years of experience in property management accounting, real estate finance, or related industry.
• 2+ years of experience in year-end audit and tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of property management and real estate development; high attention to detail.
• Amenable to work in Imus, Cavite.

Responsibilities

• Performs intermediate to advanced accounting transactions for client financial statements.
• Creates and posts journal entries; ensures expenses, receipts, distributions and transactions are posted.
• Prepares monthly financial reports including bank reconciliations and Dues schedules.
• Coordinates with property manager to ensure compliance and supports annual budgets and expense ledgers.
• Adheres to Client Accounting Policies and Procedures (CAPP) for reporting compliance.
• Coordinates with Billing and Collection to maintain accounts receivable and supports acquisitions processes.
• Reviews funding and payment requests for accuracy and authorization.
• Responds to management and client queries regarding accounting issues and reports.
• Participates in budgeting and forecasting for assigned portfolios and client transitions.
• Monitors scope of services and coordinates with team in SPOC guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
