Job summary

Joel Chavez Construction and Maintenance Inc. in Batangas City, Philippines, invites a licensed Civil Engineer to supervise daily construction activities and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.

You will prepare and maintain project records, coordinate with the PM, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers, and monitor progress and resources on site. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of relevant experience and is proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software;

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; project management software is a plus.
• Experience in marine works is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare, review, and maintain technical documents, reports, drawings, and records.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Monitor progress, manpower utilization, materials, equipment, and site resources.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure construction meets quality standards.
• Identify and report issues, delays, discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and construction standards.
