Job summary

Firstlead Inc. in Metro Manila, Pasig, is seeking a Project Planning & Implementation lead to oversee concepts through construction for design and build projects.

You will coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure plans meet objectives, timelines, and budgets. The role emphasizes cost evaluation, contractor management, quality control, operations and resource management, and thorough reporting and documentation to drive efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage project planning from concept development up to final project execution for design and construction works.
• Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, timelines, and implementation strategies.
• Ensure projects are completed within approved budgets and target completion dates.
• Coordinate project activities with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal departments.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor project progress to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), Bills of Materials (BOM), quotations, and project proposals.
• Assess contractor quotations to ensure fairness, competitiveness, and compliance with company requirements.
• Recommend cost-effective and practical construction solutions.
• Ensure contractual obligations, project scope, and company interests are protected.
• Coordinate with contractors regarding project concerns, delays, and compliance issues.
• Inspect construction and fit-out works to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, and project deliverables to ensure acceptable quality standards are met.
• Identify construction defects, risks, or issues and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee project punch listing, testing, inspection, and project turnover activities.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various locations.
• Supervise and coordinate internal multi-skilled workers for repairs and maintenance projects.
• Monitor manpower utilization, productivity, and project resource allocation.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and submit project status updates, accomplishment reports, and completion reports.
• Maintain project documentation, including plans, permits, quotations, contracts, and inspection reports.
• Monitor project expenses and provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
• Assist management in evaluating project performance and operational improvements.
