Responsibilities

• In the absence of the physician, he/she organizes and administers a health service program integrating occupational safety in accordance with the physician's established health programs.
• Provides nursing care and first aid to injured or ill employees.
• Participates in accident/incident investigation.
• Participates in a health maintenance examination. If a physician is not available, performs activities within the scope allowed by the profession, and if more extensive examinations are needed, refers the same to a physician.
• Participates in the maintenance of occupational health and safety by providing suggestions in the improvement of the working environment affecting health and well-being of employees.
