Job summary

Edisons Group of Companies Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) to lead government infrastructure projects from inception to closeout.

You will oversee CME coordination, manage contracts, schedules, procurement, and multi-site teams to meet milestones. Requires licensed engineer with 10–15+ years in complex projects, experience with government protocols, and hands-on scheduling with Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Licensed professional engineers with government project experience preferred.
• Proven ability to plan, execute and closeout large-scale projects across sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee engineering projects from inception to completion across multiple sites.
• Manage contract administration, variation orders, and government documentation.
• Monitor billings, milestones, procurement, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure CME coordination across all project phases.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of facility systems.
• Conduct punch-list and closeout to ensure handover.
• Provide assertive leadership to contractors and internal teams when schedules slip.

Job Description

Project Management: Lead and oversee engineering projects from inception to completion, managing multiple simultaneous project sites efficiently.

Contract & Change Administration: Manage contract administration, evaluate and process variation orders / change orders, and handle comprehensive government documentation.

Progress Monitoring: Monitor project billings, track accomplishment milestones, and tightly supervise procurement and delivery schedules.

Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Ensure seamless civil, mechanical, and electrical (CME) coordination across all phases of the project.

Site Execution: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of all facility infrastructure and electromechanical systems.

Project Closeout: Conduct punch-list inspections and manage the structural project closeout process to ensure full handover.

Team & Contractor Leadership: Act as a strong, assertive leader capable of challenging contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams when schedules slip to keep project timelines intact.

Qualifications

• Education & License: Registered / Licensed Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Electrical Engineer.
• Professional Experience: At least 10 to 15+ years of extensive project-management experience in the engineering field.
• Sector Expertise: Proven experience working on government infrastructure projects and navigating government protocols.
• Industry Exposure: Solid background working with industrial plants, rice/feed mills, food-processing facilities, warehouses, or large-scale electromechanical projects.
• Technical Planning Skills: High proficiency and strong hands-on capability in utilizing Primavera P6 or MS Project for scheduling and critical path monitoring.
• Leadership Trait: Assertive and firm management style with the ability to maintain accountability across multi-site operations.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS

Any of the following would be a significant advantage but are not mandatory:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
• Advanced certifications in Primavera P6 or specialized construction management frameworks.
