Job summary

TMB Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to oversee residential carpentry and cabinetry projects from site preparation through installation and final handover, ensuring schedules, budgets and quality standards are met.

You will coordinate clients, designers, suppliers and contractors, review carpentry drawings, supervise installations, manage variations and maintain complete project records while prioritising safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of project management or site coordination experience in residential renovation and carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry fabrication, cabinetry installation, materials and finishes.
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans, technical drawings and carpentry shop drawings.
• Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers, production teams and installers.
• Excellent planning, problem-solving, and client management skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and committed to quality workmanship.
• Diploma or relevant qualification in construction, interior design, project management or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage project schedules, manpower, materials, deliveries and installation activities.
• Conduct site inspections and verify measurements, site conditions and readiness before fabrication and installation.
• Review carpentry drawings, specifications, materials, finishes and hardware with design and production teams.
• Coordinate fabrication, delivery and installation of kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and other built-in carpentry.
• Supervise contractors and installers to ensure workmanship meets drawings and quality standards.
• Coordinate carpentry works with other trades (electrical, plumbing, flooring, painting).
• Serve as main contact for clients on progress, site arrangements and installation matters.
• Monitor project costs, manage variations and obtain approvals before proceeding.
• Resolve site issues and provide regular progress updates to management.
• Ensure safety requirements and building management rules are followed.
• Conduct final inspections and coordinate defect rectification and handover.
• Maintain project records (schedules, site reports, variation orders).
