Job summary

Subic Drydock Corporation is seeking a Project Manager responsible for scheduling and coordinating Systems Overhaul Programs, removal and installation of overhaul equipment, testing, and combat systems alignments. The role encompasses configuration management and logistics support for various upgrade programs.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and at least 3 years’ experience as a project superintendent in a shipyard, with strong communication and computer literacy

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years as project superintendent in a shipyard industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates overhaul and upgrade projects in the shipyard.
• Schedules and reports on works for the ship repair facility including combat systems alignments.
• Coordinates manpower allocation across divisions to meet project priorities.
• Establishes procedures for training within shops to meet project goals.
• Ensures safety standards compliance for ships systems and personnel.
• Coordinates with QA to ensure QA actions are completed timely.

The Project Manager is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of the Systems Overhaul Programs, removal and Installation of Overhauled equipment’s, Test and check-out, and Combat Systems Alignments, These responsibilities encompass all alterations and upgrade programs, configuration management and logistics support and other special programs as assigned.

0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1 Supervises, Coordinates, schedules and reports on all works assigned to the Ship Repair Facility for overhaul, conversion, upgrades, and other special projects as assigned, including Combat Systems Alignments.

• 2 Coordinates the manpower allocation of the functional divisions to support the priorities established by the General Manager. Enforce establish personnel policies to provide for adequate manpower and supervision to meet job requirements.

• 3 Establish procedures for the execution of training programs within, and amongst all shops to satisfy needs of special projects SDC goals and requirements.

• 4 Monitor work environment and established procedures to ensure that ships systems related equipment’s and personnel are properly guarded and comply with all required safety standards.

• 5 Coordinate with Quality Assurance Department to ensure that the QA program, QA Audits, and required QA actions etc., are accomplished in a timely manner.

• 6 Perform other project coordination duties as directed.

0 EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1 Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering courses.

At least 3 years related experience as project superintendent in a shipyard industry.

• 3 Others: Good communication and personal relation skills Computer literate.
