Job Summary
The Project Manager role is responsible for overseeing ERP service delivery from initiation to completion while ensuring governance, compliance, and reporting standards are maintained. This position manages cross‑functional teams, serves as the primary point of contact for clients, and ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards. Additionally, the role supports consistent project practices, monitors performance metrics, and provides insights for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Head of Service Delivery to design and maintain service delivery KPIs.
- Keep all service delivery and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, dashboards, etc.) up to date and accurate at all times.
- Lead service deliveries for all service initiatives from initiation through deployment.
- Ensure clarity of ownership, timeline alignment, and escalation handling across cross‑functional teams.
- Maintain dashboards and project performance metrics for senior management and executive reporting.
- Maintain clean, accurate, and current data for task tracking, status visibility, and team allocation management.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, design, development, testing, and production deployment phases of the projects.
- Drive operational discipline across teams — enforcing JIRA hygiene, task commitments, and progress reporting.
- Conduct weekly internal and client‑facing project reviews, tracking progress against deliverables.
- Communicate project status to clients in a clear, concise, and actionable format, highlighting completed milestones, current blockers, next steps, and ownership of action items.
- Assist in service implementation and delivery according to delivery plans.
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements and provide guidance on ERP usage.
- Serve as liaison between Client, Delivery Consultants, Developers, QA, Product, and Support teams.
- Document processes, workflows, and project progress to ensure effective management.
- Escalate issues to senior team members or project managers when necessary.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certification) is required.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in project management, ERP delivery, or consulting.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, workflows, and industry best practices.
- Understanding of ERP systems, SaaS products, or software development lifecycle.
- Ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, and service delivery documentation.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
- Technical understanding relevant to the industry (NetSuite).
