Location: Pasay City
Company: Alba Motors & Metal Craft Inc.
Employment Type: Full-Time
At Alba Motors & Metal Craft Inc., we pride ourselves on precision, quality, and craftsmanship. From high-grade custom stainless steel architectural products to heavy‑duty equipment, we deliver tailored metal fabrication solutions for architects, general contractors, interior designers, and commercial clients.
We are looking for a sharp, driven Sales Engineer who can bridge technical design with business execution—handling projects from site measurement and cost estimation all the way to workshop delivery.
As a Project Manager, you will own the project lifecycle from initial client site assessments to final handover. Your key responsibilities will include:
CAD Drafting & Shop Drawings:
Draft precise 2D/3D shop drawings, fabrication blueprints, and exploded views using AutoCAD based on site measurements and project requirements.
Translate client concepts or architectural plans into clear, actionable cutting and assembly drawings for welders, fabricators, and polishers.
Site Assessment & Technical Measurements:
Perform accurate on-site measurements and technical surveys at client locations, commercial spaces, and project sites.
Evaluate structural requirements, installation constraints, and site-specific conditions.
Costing & Quotation Generation:
Build precise, detail-oriented Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost estimations for custom fabrication projects.
Calculate required materials (sheets, tubing, hardware), labor hours, welding consumables, finishing/polishing supplies, and surface treatments.
Draft clear, professional commercial proposals and quotations for clients.
Project Management & Field Supervision:
Serve as the main point of contact for awarded projects.
Coordinate directly with workshop teams—including welders, fabricators, polishers, and site installers to ensure design specifications, tolerances, and quality standards are met.
Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and site installations to ensure smooth delivery.
Education & Experience:
Degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven experience in cost estimation, technical sales, or project engineering within custom metal fabrication, sheet metal work, or structural steel industries.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and architectural blueprints.
Strong mastery of material costing, yield calculations, and workshop processes (cutting, bending, TIG/MIG welding, surface finishing, polishing).
Soft Skills & Attributes:
Excellent communication and client‑facing negotiation skills.
Strong leadership and coordination skills to work effectively with shop floor workers, installers, and project site managers.
High attention to detail and ability to work under tight site deadlines.
Willingness to travel to local project sites for measurements and installation monitoring.
Competitive base salary + performance/project-based incentives.
Hands-on exposure to diverse, high-value architectural and industrial metal projects.
Direct working relationship with management in a fast-growing fabrication setup.
Opportunities for technical career advancement and leadership roles.
