Brightsand Designs is seeking a proactive Project Manager who understands how digital marketing and creative services come together to achieve client goals. You will own project direction, coordinate designers, developers, and marketers, and ensure high-quality delivery for multiple clients in a remote setting.

You should analyse client needs, plan timelines, manage workloads, and provide constructive feedback to improve processes and outcomes.

At Brightsand Designs, a Project Manager is much more than someone who assigns tasks and follows up on deadlines. We believe the best Project Managers understand the work they manage. They think critically, ask the right questions, challenge assumptions when necessary, and ensure every project is moving in the right direction before work even begins.

Our Project Managers are expected to understand how digital marketing, websites, SEO, branding, graphic design, content creation, paid advertising, email marketing, video production, and other creative services come together to achieve a client's goals. While you are not expected to personally complete every task, you should understand the work well enough to recognise quality, identify potential issues early, provide meaningful feedback, confidently support your team when guidance is needed, and step in when circumstances require it.

We are looking for someone who naturally takes ownership. Instead of simply passing requests from clients to the team, you should be able to analyse what the client is really asking for, identify missing information, think through the best approach, and ensure your team has everything they need before work begins. You should feel comfortable recommending better solutions whenever you believe there is a more effective way to achieve the client's objectives.

You will work closely with clients, designers, developers, marketers, SEO specialists, video editors, and other team members to keep projects organised, on schedule, and delivered to a consistently high standard. Your success will not be measured by how many tasks you assign, but by how effectively you lead projects, support your team, solve problems, improve processes, and help deliver outstanding results for every client.

• Strong understanding of project management principles and digital agency workflows, with the ability to manage multiple clients, projects, priorities, deadlines, budgets, and team members while maintaining excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Able to analyse client requests, identify missing information, define clear project requirements, develop realistic project plans, estimate timelines, balance workloads, identify risks and bottlenecks early, prevent unnecessary rework, and keep projects progressing efficiently without compromising quality.
• Practical understanding of one or more digital marketing or creative disciplines, with a willingness to continuously expand knowledge across web development, SEO, branding, graphic design, content creation, paid advertising, email marketing, video production, and other agency services in order to better support both clients and the team.
• Able to review deliverables beyond simply checking whether a task is complete by recognising quality issues, identifying gaps, asking meaningful questions, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring work aligns with company standards, client objectives, and overall project goals before delivery.
• Able to understand each client's business objectives, identify opportunities for improvement, recommend better solutions, manage expectations professionally, and build long-term relationships based on trust, transparency, and consistently delivering value.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide team members, coach and mentor where appropriate, resolve challenges professionally, make informed decisions independently, and confidently lead meetings with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Comfortable using ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, reporting dashboards, AI tools, and other modern collaboration platforms to improve planning, communication, documentation, reporting, workflow efficiency, and decision-making while ensuring all information remains accurate and reliable.

Work Requirements

• Comfortable working in a fully remote environment while managing multiple client accounts, projects, deadlines, priorities, and team members with minimal supervision.

• Expected to maintain accurate project documentation, proactively monitor project progress, review deliverables, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure communication remains organised, timely, and up to date.
