At Brightsand Designs, our AI Video Editors combine creativity with emerging technology to produce engaging, high-quality video content that helps businesses communicate more effectively. We are looking for someone who enjoys experimenting with AI tools, solving creative challenges, and transforming ideas into compelling visual stories that support our clients’ marketing and business objectives.

You will work closely with Project Managers, marketers, designers, content creators, and clients to develop AI-assisted video content for social media, advertising, websites, presentations, and other digital platforms. While AI plays an important role in your workflow, creativity, critical thinking, and attention to detail remain essential to producing content that stands out and delivers meaningful results.

We value creators who think beyond simply generating videos. You should be comfortable evaluating AI outputs, refining prompts, improving visual consistency, solving creative limitations, and combining AI-generated assets with traditional editing techniques to produce polished, professional content that aligns with each client’s brand and objectives.

Success in this role is measured not only by the speed of production, but by your ability to create engaging content, adapt to rapidly evolving AI technologies, collaborate effectively with the team, and continuously improve both the quality and effectiveness of every video you deliver.

Professional Skills

• Strong understanding of video storytelling, composition, pacing, transitions, sound design, visual consistency, branding, and audience engagement, with the ability to create videos that are both visually compelling and strategically effective.

• Experience using AI-powered creative tools such as Runway, Veo, Kling, Pika, Midjourney, Flux, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to generate, enhance, and refine video content while continuously exploring new technologies and workflows.

• Proficient in professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar applications, with the ability to combine AI-generated content with traditional editing techniques to produce polished final deliverables.

• Able to develop effective prompts, evaluate AI-generated results critically, troubleshoot inconsistencies, maintain character and visual consistency, and refine outputs until they meet both creative and technical expectations.

• Strong understanding of how video content supports digital marketing, branding, social media, advertising, websites, and overall business objectives while collaborating effectively with designers, marketers, and Project Managers.

• Comfortable learning new AI platforms, creative technologies, and production workflows while ensuring every final deliverable meets high standards for quality, originality, brand consistency, and client expectations.

Work Requirements

• Expected to maintain organised project files, document creative assets appropriately, communicate progress regularly, and ensure all deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards.

• Willing to collaborate closely with Project Managers and other departments to ensure video content remains aligned with marketing strategies, branding, and overall client objectives.
