Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end Energy Storage System projects in Davao de Oro, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

You will define objectives, guide planning from concept to execution, oversee all project documentation, manage risk and regulatory permits, and ensure a smooth turnover to Operations and Maintenance while driving safety and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years as Project Manager for large/medium projects in power/energy storage.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and regulators is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of ESS projects, guiding teams through scope, schedule, budget, safety and quality.
• Define objectives and scope from concept to delivery, ensuring financial viability.
• Oversee project documentation and seamless turnover to O&M, protecting confidential estimates and drawings.

As Project Manager, you will lead the successful execution of Energy Storage System projects, ensuring delivery within defined scopes, timelines, budgets, and quality standards while contributing directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, internal leadership, and external stakeholders to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Lead the end-to-end execution of assigned ESS projects by guiding cross-functional teams through each delivery phase, monitoring real-time progress across scope, budget, quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Spearhead project definition and planning from concept initiation by establishing clear objectives, scope, and budgets that align with strategic business aims and ensure financial viability.
• Oversee all project documentation from initial stages to completion, ensuring seamless turnover to Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and preserving the confidentiality of project estimates, design drawings, and feasibility reports.
• Manage project reporting and risk escalation to Senior Management, while collaborating with the Business Group Compliance Team to secure necessary licenses, regulatory permits, and contractual security compliance.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager for large and medium-sized projects, preferably in the power or energy storage sector
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Proficiency in applying project management principles, using project management software tools, and contract analysis/structuring
• Strong skills in regulatory compliance, data reporting, digital dexterity, and mathematical/computational analysis
