Waste Solutions & Management Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead land development projects from assessment through turnover.
You will coordinate site assessments, feasibility studies, and development plans, manage scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure compliance with local codes and environmental requirements. You will oversee design and engineering of roads, drainage, water and sewer systems; secure permits from DENR, DPWH, and LGUs; track milestones; prepare
1. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new land development opportunities.
2. Prepare comprehensive development plans, schedules, and budgets.
3. Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with company goals.
4. Oversee the design and engineering of infrastructure (roads, drainage, water supply, electrical, sewer systems, etc.). Ensure all designs are compliant with local codes, zoning ordinances, and industry standards.
5. Secure required permits and approvals from local and national agencies (e.g., DENR, DPWH, LGUs). Maintain full documentation of all permits, licenses, and correspondence with regulatory bodies. Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental, zoning, and safety regulations.
6. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to approved financial plans.
7. Track project milestones and maintain updated timelines for all deliverables. Identify potential delays and take corrective actions to keep the project on track. Coordinate closely with internal teams and clients to meet project deadlines.
8. Acts as a management representative in business meetings with existing and prospective clients and in meeting with any government office related to project management.
9. Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, permits, drawings, reports, and correspondences. Prepare and submit regular progress reports, cost analyses, and project summaries to leadership. Ensure proper handover of all project documentation upon turnover or completion.
10. Supervise and monitor on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to plans and specifications. Address technical problems, safety concerns, and design discrepancies on-site.
11. Ensures that all safe work protocols are observed by all team members at all times. Monitor these activities daily by actual inspection and in close coordination with the site safety team.
12. Supports the ISO initiatives and adopts the continual improvement mindset to always look for opportunities for improvement and change obsolete processes and/or innovate for the best interest of the company.
13. Performs other functions that maybe assigned from time to time in relations to project management.
