Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct site oculars, initial surveys, and precise field measurements.

• Serve as the primary client contact, providing clear project updates throughout execution.
• Review CAD drawings and SketchUp models to reflect accurate field measurements and specs.

• Calculate BOM based on drawings and site specs.
• Prepare and submit timely Purchase Requests for materials to prevent delays.
• Perform rigorous quality checks on fabricated components at the shop and on-site.

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven Project-in-Charge to serve as the main focal person for project takeoff, execution, and client delivery. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design, production, and site installation—ensuring projects move seamlessly from initial site oculars to high-quality completed handovers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site oculars, initial surveys, and precise field measurements
• Plan site logistics, installation schedules, and manpower allocation prior to execution
• Serve as the primary, high-touch point of contact for clients, managing expectations and providing clear project updates throughout execution
• Review and interpret CAD drawings and SketchUp models to ensure they reflect accurate field measurements and structural/geometric specs
• Coordinate directly with CAD operators, CNC machine operators, and the fabrication team to align production with design details
• Calculate bill of materials (BOM) based on drawings and site specs
• Prepare and submit timely Purchase Requests (PRs) for raw materials, hardware, and installation supplies to prevent project delays
• Perform rigorous quality checks on fabricated components at the shop prior to dispatch and on-site installation
• Proactively anticipate, identify, and mitigate potential bottlenecks in material sourcing, shop production, and site installation before and during project execution
• Supervise on-site installation, ensuring safety standards, exact geometric alignments, and high workmanship standards

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or related technical field) or Architecture
• Strong mastery of geometry, trigonometry, and practical math for precise measurements and material estimates
• Ability to read, interpret, audit, and understand technical CAD drawings and SketchUp files
