Job summary

Alba Motors & Metalcraft Inc. is seeking a Project-in-Charge to manage takeoffs, execution, and client delivery. You will bridge design, production, and site installation to ensure smooth handovers from site oculars to final walk-through.

Ideal candidates hold a engineering degree (or Architecture), excel in geometry and CAD/SketchUp interpretation, and coordinate with CAD, CNC, and fabrication teams while maintaining schedule, quality, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial) or Architecture.
• Strong geometry, trigonometry, and math skills for precise measurements and material estimates.
• Read, interpret, audit, and understand technical CAD drawings and SketchUp files.
• Familiarity with metalworking, CNC machining, and fabrication workflows.
• Meticulous attention to detail with high accuracy in measuring, quality checks, and specs validation.
• Excellent communication to coordinate with clients, shop operators, and installation crews.
• Highly organized and process-oriented with a structured approach to tracking, scheduling, documentation, and procurement.
• Proactive problem solving with ability to anticipate bottlenecks and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site oculars, initial surveys, and precise field measurements.
• Plan site logistics, installation schedules, and manpower allocation prior to execution.
• Serve as the primary client contact, providing clear project updates throughout execution.
• Review CAD drawings and SketchUp models to reflect accurate field measurements and specs.
• Coordinate with CAD operators, CNC operators, and fabrication team.
• Calculate BOM based on drawings and site specs.
• Prepare and submit timely Purchase Requests for materials to prevent delays.
• Perform rigorous quality checks on fabricated components at the shop and on-site.
• Anticipate and mitigate potential bottlenecks in material sourcing, production, and installation.
• Supervise on-site installation, ensuring safety standards and high workmanship.
