Bandai Namco Philippines is hiring a Project Engineering Engineer to lead the Project Engineering Team in taking new products from concept to mass production readiness at our Lipa City facility.

You will oversee tooling fabrication, sampling, validation, and product launches, coordinating with tooling makers, suppliers, production, and QA to ensure cost-effective solutions while meeting quality and schedule requirements.

Aufgaben

• Lead and supervise the Project Engineering Team in managing new product development projects.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of tooling, sampling, evaluation, validation, and product readiness activities.
• Review product specifications, engineering drawings, samples, and other documentation for accuracy.
• Drive cost-effective engineering solutions throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Coordinate with tooling/mold makers, suppliers, production, QA, and other stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Manage project timelines, risks, resources and deliverables for successful execution.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPA for product and process issues.
• Support tooling development, mold qualification, process validation, and ECIs.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, standards, safety regulations, and procedures.
• Prepare project status reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, manufacturability, efficiency and cost performance.

About the Role

Bandai Namco Philippines is seeking a Project Engineering Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Lipa City, Batangas. This full-time position is responsible for leading and supervising the Project Engineering Team in the successful execution of new product development projects from concept through mass production readiness.

The role plays a critical part in ensuring the timely completion of development activities, including tooling fabrication, sampling, evaluation, process validation, and product launch readiness. The Project Engineering Engineer will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver cost-effective engineering solutions while maintaining quality, delivery, and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Project Engineering Team in managing new product development projects.

• Monitor project schedules and ensure the timely completion of tooling, sampling, evaluation, validation, and product readiness activities.

• Review product specifications, engineering drawings, samples, and other engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Drive cost-effective engineering solutions throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Coordinate with Tooling/Mold Makers, Suppliers, Production, Quality Assurance, Process Engineering, Purchasing, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

• Manage project timelines, risks, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for product and process issues.

• Support tooling development, mold qualification, process validation, and engineering change implementation.

• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.

• Prepare project status reports and provide regular updates to management.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, manufacturability, efficiency, and cost performance.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• 5-8 years of relevant engineering and manufacturing experience, preferably in:

  • New Product Development (NPD)

  • Tooling Development

  • Injection Molding Operations

  • Manufacturing Engineering

• Strong understanding of product development processes, tooling, mold design, and injection molding technologies.

• Experience in project management, process validation, and product launch activities.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, and project management tools.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of quality systems, continuous improvement methodologies, and cost optimization initiatives is an advantage.
