Recruitify_HR is seeking a Project Engineer (Equipment & MPFS) to lead mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and sanitary works on-site, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications. The role also schedules preventive maintenance for in-house equipment on the project site.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or sanitary engineering background, with 3+ years in construction and strong skills in AutoCad, MS Office, and MS Project, plus excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, or related field.
  • Licenses or professional certifications (e.g., Registered Mechanical Engineer, Registered Sanitary Engineer, or Registered Master Plumber) preferred.
  • At least 3 years in construction with exposure to mechanical, fire protection, plumbing & sanitary works.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project management.
  • Proficient in AutoCad, MS Office, MS Project, and other engineering software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Cost: Estimate, monitor, and control plumbing quantities (materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors).
  • Coordinate with the Cost & Schedule Engineer for baseline cost and schedule.
  • Prepare and submit requests for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor and supervise MPFS works on-site.
  • Assist service providers and utility company for inspection and installation of water/sanitary lines.
  • Submit weekly MPFS accomplishment reports.
  • Coordinate MPFS changes with Engineering Department.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of generator set and elevator.
  • Coordinate with Equipment Head on equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Recommend effective engineering solutions to field problems.
  • Quality: review construction plans and specifications for compliance with codes.
  • Implement construction plans and specifications.
  • Initiate tests such as hydro-test, functional test, flow tests, and system start-up.
  • Coordinate MPFS changes with CAD Operator for as-built plans.
  • Turnover MPFS works per plans and specs.
  • Issue Certificate of Completion and Final Acceptance of Contractors.
  • Evaluate Contractor's Performance Report.
  • Safety: assist in overseeing health and safety on site.

Job Summary

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, or any related field.
  • Possession of relevant professional certifications or licenses (i.e., Registered Mechanical Engineer, Registered Sanitary Engineer, or Registered Master Plumber, etc.)
  • Has a minimum of 3 years experience in construction industry, preferably with exposure to mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and sanitary works.
  • Has an in-depth knowledge in construction project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and other engineering software tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management, scheduling, and budgeting.
