Job summary

SM Development Corporation in Davao City seeks a Project Coordinator to assist the Project Manager in monitoring progress for residential, parking, and common areas, and to support turnover documentation. You will coordinate with contractors and consultants daily, track progress and costs, and prepare reports for review.

Site inspections ensure safety, housekeeping, and quality standards, while you identify risks and escalate for resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional License (Civil Engineer or Architect) is an advantage but not strictly required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in construction, engineering, or project supervision.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, and basic scheduling software.
• Ability to work under pressure and willingness to be mentored into higher project leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring progress of unit deliverables for residential, parking, and common areas.
• Support the preparation, verification, and submission of turnover documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants on day-to-day project activities.
• Track progress reports, cost updates, and scope changes for endorsement to the Project Manager.
• Prepare draft project reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for review and submission.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
• Assist in identifying risks/issues and escalte to the Project Manager for resolution.
• Perform assigned tasks and provide administrative and technical support for smooth project execution.
