Job summary

Convergint in Manila is seeking a Security Systems Engineer to install, test, commission, and program security equipment in line with company standards. You will manage projects and provide technical support to Sales and other teams, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Role requires 3+ years of experience in security projects, basic IT knowledge of security hardware, and familiarity with CCTV, access control, and alarm systems. Previous exposure to multinational environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronic/Computer/Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant security project experience.
• Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, network and database.
• Experience with access control, CCTV and alarm systems is advantageous.
• Exposure to multinational environments is a plus.

Discovering the role

The primary responsibility of this role is the installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming of security equipment in adherence to Convergint's standards. The objective is to maintain excellent engineering project quality while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and program security equipment in compliance with company policies and standards.
• Manage projects to ensure successful completion.
• Provide technical support and assistance to Sales and other departments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security systems.
• Conduct on-site training sessions for clients.
• Utilize AutoCAD to design security systems and create building diagrams.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge in security concepts.

Requirements

• Possess a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Computer, Automation Engineering.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in security, electronic, or small electronic project implementation and commissioning, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Possess basic IT knowledge in security hardware, network, and database.
• Experience with security access control systems, CCTV, and alarm system products/systems is advantageous.
• Previous exposure to Lenel, GE, Cisco, and S2 systems is a clear advantage.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Display a quick learning ability and a strong focus on client service.
