Palmer-Asia Inc. seeks a dedicated Project Engineer to oversee Fire Detection and Alarm Systems projects in the Philippines. You will secure permits, prepare documentation, and supervise site activities to ensure on-time completion while coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering and 1–3 years’ FDAS or related systems experience. Fresh graduates with internship projects are welcome.
Secure and process all necessary permits, clearances, and project-related approvals.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including Material Requests (MR), tool and equipment requests, work methodologies, project schedules (Gantt Charts), budgets, service vehicle requirements, and progress reports.
Supervise site activities, ensuring the efficient utilization of manpower, tools, materials, and resources.
Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time project completion.
Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Prepare and submit weekly project status reports, highlighting accomplishments, issues, risks, and action plans.
Oversee preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and rectification activities for Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS).
Ensure compliance with fire safety codes, quality standards, and company procedures throughout project execution.
Support project planning, resource allocation, cost control, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS), CCTV Systems, Access Control, Barrier Gate Systems, or other Electronic Security Systems.
Experience in fire protection, life safety, or low-voltage systems is an advantage.
Knowledge of testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance procedures.
Fresh graduates with relevant internship or project experience are encouraged to apply.
