Job summary

Luntiang Dahon Construction Corp. in Cebu City seeks an experienced Project Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and on-site execution. You will coordinate from planning through completion, review drawings, manage costings, schedules, and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 2+ years of project engineering experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and strong problem-solving skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s/College degree Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer is preferred.
• With at least 2 years experience as Project Electrical Engineer.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Know how to AutoCAD, Cost Estimate and Electrical Design.
• Demonstrate flexibility, adaptable to change and can work under pressure.
• Self-motivated and pro active and is able to accomplish task without direct oversight.

Responsibilities

• Planned and coordinate a project from start to finish, including organizing the work schedule, costings, and budget.
• Experienced with Electrical Designing and must be technically competent with a variety of engineering and design software packages and various equipment and instruments.
• Manages overall project performance including but not limited to the scope, safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
• Manage the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labor force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work, and overseeing quality control.
• Ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing on budgets, and monitoring progress.
• Check design documents with architects and engineers.
• Promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are followed.
• Acts as Presiding Officer during client and contractor meetings maintains regular communication and attends meetings with clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project, i.e. stakeholder management.
• Deal with any unexpected problems during the project and effectively apply the approved methodologies and construction standards.
• Evaluate the progress of works and submit daily, weekly, and monthly detailed construction activity reports.
• Assess and evaluate contractors' and sub-contractors' progress billing based on actual milestones or accomplishments.
• Establish a good relationship with the client
