Project and Site Engineer – Supervisor

Location: Assigned project sites in the Philippines
Employment Type: Full-time, on-site

We are seeking an experienced Project and Site Engineer at the supervisory level to oversee construction activities across assigned project sites. The role will manage daily site execution, coordinate workers and subcontractors, and monitor project schedules, costs, quality, and safety.

The successful candidate will work closely with management, clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure construction activities meet approved plans, specifications, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities across assigned sites, ensuring work follows approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Prepare and monitor work plans, construction schedules, manpower assignments, and material requirements.
• Coordinate daily activities with site personnel, foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Review drawings and project documents, identify discrepancies, and raise technical concerns for clarification before execution.
• Monitor progress against milestones and recommend recovery plans for delays.
• Conduct site inspections and verify workmanship, measurements, and completed quantities.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment deployment, storage, and proper use of project resources.
• Track material consumption, labor productivity, wastage, and site expenses against approved budgets.
• Prepare quantity estimates, accomplishment reports, progress updates, and supporting documents for billing.
• Document proposed variations and additional works, and secure required approvals before implementation.
• Coordinate with designated safety personnel and enforce approved site safety procedures.
• Attend project meetings and provide timely updates on progress, concerns, risks, and required decisions.
• Maintain site records, including daily reports, photographs, inspection requests, delivery records, and instructions.
• Supervise and coach site teams, promoting accountability, coordination, and quality workmanship.
• Oversee punch-list completion, rectification works, as-built documentation, and project turnover.
• Travel between assigned sites and promptly escalation issues affecting cost, schedule, quality, or safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline appropriate to the projects.
• Licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
• At least three years of relevant construction or site engineering experience, including experience supervising site personnel and subcontractors.
• Experience managing multiple project sites is strongly preferred.
• Experience in building construction, commercial fit-outs, or renovation projects is an advantage.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, quantity estimation, scheduling, cost monitoring, and quality control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and project scheduling tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel between project locations.
