Job summary

Alsons Development & Investment Corporation in the Philippines seeks a Civil Engineer with supervisory experience to oversee construction activities on-site. The candidate should have a BS in Civil Engineering, driving license, and working knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, Word and related office tools.

Responsibilities include reviewing A&E plans, preparing quantity take-offs and schedules, and conducting site verifications, with emphasis on timely reporting of project status and adherence to plans

Qualifications

• Must possess a BS in Civil Engineering.
• At least five (5) years hands-on experience in construction in supervisory capacity.
• Preferably with working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Driver’s license and driving skills are required.
• Computer literate (MS Excel, MS Office, and Word).
• Review architectural and engineering plans and drawings and related reports.

• Review architectural and engineering plans and drawings, including related reports.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates, and develop construction schedules.
• Assist in site verification surveys to evaluate engineering plans.
• Prepare and evaluate Weekly Physical Accomplishment Reports (WPAR) for each contract.
• Implement all construction activities in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, and budget.

• Graduate of BS in Civil Engineering
• Preferably but not a Licensed Civil Engineer
• At least five (5) years valued and actual hands-on experience in various phases of construction in supervisory capacity
• Preferably with working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Must possess valid driving skills and a driver’s license
• Computer literate (MS Excel, MS Office, and Word)
• Review architectural and engineering (A&E) plans and drawings, including related engineering reports and studies
• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, construction schedules, and programs of works (Project-to-Life)
• Assist in various site verification surveys to evaluate engineering plans
• Prepare and evaluate Weekly Physical Accomplishment Reports (WPAR) for each contract and submit project status/health reports
• Implement all construction activities in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, and budget
